Thursday: 03.00 – getting up

 We collected at the station of Dendermonde. It was way too early. I really needed coffee: Starbucks! Two hours later it was time to board: this is the beginning of our memorable exchange!

We didn’t had a lot of time in Rome. Normally, we had to do 3 games there but we couldn’t do them all. We screamed ‘kukeleku’. We also made other lyircs on ‘Chearleader’. But unfortunately , we didn’t had time enough to sing it…

 We arrived in Napoli. A bus that was too big brought us to Agropoli. I was really excited. I really wanted to meet Otilia!

Otilia’s mother made lunch. It was way too much… After lunch, we went to the beach and the hotel her father works. In the evening we went to a restaurant. After diner, we went to Agropoli. I was overwhelmed of the view of the port. Then we went for a short walk. And hup, we went back home!

 

 

 

Friday: 06.00: I woke up…

Today we are going to Paestum! On the road, we eat breakfast. And then: hup, to Paestum with the train! We visit the beautiful Greek temples.

In the evening, we went eating with the entire group in Agropoli. And for the second time I was overwhelmed of the view!  It was an amazing day!

Saturday: 06.00: I woke up…

We are going to Pompei by bus! After 10 minutes, we stop to drink a coffee! I love it!

Pompei is a beautiful city! Unfortunately there were many streets and houses that weren’t allowed to go in. We also sing ‘Pompei’ by Bastille!

After Pompei, Simone and Sam go with us to Otilia’s home.  We eat Romanian! It was delicious! After diner, we go to Agropol! We had to wait on Francesca, ‘Italian way’, of course. We make a deal: we only speak English! We visit the castle. But after a few minutes inside, it closes… So we walk a little bit. Simone and Sam had to go home, so me and Otila went to Amber, Lise, Linda and Luisa in a bar. It was an amazing but exhausted day!

 

Sunday: 07.00

It's our day off!

In the afternoon we go to San Marco, to the bar where Sarah works. We had to wait on the others. Then we go to the rocks and enjoy the sun! We watch the sunset. Beautiful! After that, we are going to eat something and then we go back home!

 

Monday: 06.00

School! First day in my life that I don’t mind going to school! Our first lesson: P.E. Totally different than with us! Second lesson: French. We sing a few songs, the atmosphere is great! After break, we have to work on our games: who is it? We split up in groups and all do our part. After school we go to Salerno by train! It was an incredibly hot day!

After Salerno we go back to Agropoli! We go back to the little square where the train stands! Finally, we take a ride on it! Then we go eat in a restaurant. It is our Last Supper in Agropoli… Knowing, that tomorrow this time we are sitting on the plane back home…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thuesday: 06.00

Final day.. Making my suitcase.. I say goodbye to her brother and mother.. Her mom was so sweet… Before school, we’re going to eat breakfast. A lot of teachers weren’t at school because of the strike. But the teachers French and philosophy were there. It’s incredible how the Italians treat their teachers! Everything is possible with them!

After school, we’re going to a park. And then, for the last time, we go eating all together…

After lunch, we go back to school where the bus is already waiting.. i don’t want to leave… On the road to Napoli, we take a few more picture!

In Rome, we sing our 100 days-song while Sam is playing the piano! En then, hup! Back to Belgium.....

It was a journey to never forget! I’m already looking forward to our next journey to Agropoli! Or when they come to Belgium! Or when I go to Romania, someday, to Otilia! Otilia, you’re amazing! And I miss you! Till next time!
